In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading", TED has created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxMSCW is an independent event, operating under license from TED, where TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Development. The event aims to bring together intellectual minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and are on a wide range of subjects to enable learning, inspiration, and wonders to provoke speeches that matter.
TEDx is a grassroots initiative, built in the spirit of TED’s all-around mission to research and realize “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local populations around the world through TEDx events.Events are organized by passionate individuals who seek to uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in their local areas that spark conversations in their communities. TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organized independently under a free license granted by TED. More than 3000 events are now held annually.
We are thrilled to announce that, for the first time in history, a TEDx event will be held at our college, MATA SUNDRI COLLEGE FOR WOMEN on 20th April, 2022. TEDxMSCW is an exclusive journey that includes educating and exciting the youth to express their inner talents and solve their true potential. Our mission is to provide quality education to students that not only nurtures individual talents but also fosters a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork. This is blended with sound values and ideals. We strive to spread our speakers' principles and enhance experiences with the next generation such that they can pass upon a vision of spreading unity, peace and justice.
TEDxMSCW's mission is driven to provide excellent educational opportunities that are responsive to the needs of our students and empower them to meet and exceed challenges as active participants in shaping the future of our world. and thus shape them into future leaders, entrepreneurs and above all good human beings.

TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile,independently run TEDx events to help share ideas in communities around the world.
